Merry Christmas

I realized that my blog is a bit boring without any pictures on here. So along with wishing a Merry Christmas to everyone I thought I'd download Picasa again and start putting up some pictures once more. I find it a bit better than just having a ton of text and links to scroll through. I'm also planning on trying out Google's new video blog.
The family is all doing well. Laura is 3 and she's really gotten into Christmas this year, or at least Santa and presents (we're still working on everything else). She's growing up so fast and its amazing how clever they become so quickly. Alli is 7 months now and we're experimenting with solid food. She's cute as a button. I graduated this semester, and turned down a software position in Montgomery, AL. opting instead to stay at the job I'm at, mostly a financial decision as the other job seemed exciting. I hope that was the right move. Daisy did well this semester in school and she's got one more year left. Merry Christmas to all! Posted by Picasa

I'm not much for getting teary-eyed over a "wild" animal. But this is truly sad that someone would do such a thing.

Not that everyone didn't already know he was doing this, but Bush got caught authorizing taps on U.S. citizens without a judge's permission. Something very unconsitutional and now he says that it was ok, and that he will continue to do so. Tell me this doesn't make you just a little nervous, we are losing so much freedom in this country that its starting to scare me.

It's not surprising that Bush doesn't care about the environment. But he is going a bit far by not signing this. Perhaps we should be able to get Congress to vote on it?

Chron.com | Man killed by air marshals said to be fleeing in panic

Terribly tragic, but maybe the govt can admit what really happened here. An unneccessary use of deadly force by two trained air marshalls. This thing is going to happen, but the only way to reduce it is for it to be admitted to and then trained better. Poor wife. I hope they do the right thing.
